Well it was a tough loss for the women's team here in Katy. They played a fantastic first half, but in the end, just didn't have enough to overcome Texas A&M Corpus Christi. It was another step in the right direction for the women's basketball program and hopefully something they can build on for next year.
The men will be in action tonight, and we are hoping to see as much orange here in Katy as we can. The game tips at 6 p.m. so for the first time, we are playing in the evening session here in the first round. Students can get in free by showing their ID. If you can't make it out to the Merrell Center, it will be available online at GoBearkats.com.
After the game we will have highlights and the press conference posted on the official site.
