We have made a few changes to the baseball and softball schedules with rain in the area this week.
The Bearkat baseball game scheduled for Tuesday in Houston has now been moved to Don Sanders Stadium. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be available to watch on Bearkat Vision. The Bearkats will now play on April 7 at Texas Southern.
The softball team was scheduled to play their Southland Conference opening series on Tuesday at Stephen F. Austin. Because of unplayable field conditions in Nacogdoches, the series will now be played at The Bearkat Softball Complex. The two teams will play a double header Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m. and the series finale on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
This makes for a busy week around the athletic department as there will now be 11 games here on campus over the next six days between baseball, softball and women's basketball. Also on Saturday, Bowers Stadium will host a high school track meet with 50 schools scheduled to compete.
